    Hosted by The City Of Tucson Intro to Flamenco & Sevillanas class offers beginner's friendly introduction to flamenco dance, designed for students with no prior experience. Participants will learn fundamental flamenco skills and steps. This class also includes introduction in Sevillanas, a traditional partner folk dance from Sevilla, Spain. No Partner necessary.

    Footwork Technique explores exercises and drills designed to enhance speed, preciseness & endurance.

    *Prior flamenco training recommended.

    Flamenco Lab offers in-depth training in the intricate relationship between cante (singing), baile (dance), and toque (guitar). You will gain a deeper understanding of their structure and communication, applicable to both choreographed and improvisational flamenco settings. The curriculum also includes extensive palmas (hand-clapping) training to effectively support these core flamenco elements.

    Upper Body Technique caters to beginning intermediate, intermediate, and advanced flamenco dancers. This class is designed for those with a strong grasp of flamenco technique, rhythms, structure, and vocabulary. Students will further develop their technique and artistry through a variety of strengthening exercises and across-the-floor combinations.
