This class focuses on developing total body technique, strengthening movement, musicality, and endurance. It utilizes various exercise combinations with speed intervals to enhance performance and deepen the participants' foundation in: Floreo (hand movements), Braceo (arm movements), Zapateado/Taconeo (footwork), Marcajes (marking steps), Compás y Palmas (rhythm and hand-clapping), Giros (turns), Posture, body placement, and control

All levels of experience. Beginners welcome!

This class focuses on building your repertoire of llamadas (calls), remates (finishes), and cierres (closings). Gain the confidence and comfort needed to participate in a festero style environment at your next juerga (flamenco party) or fin de fiesta (end of performance celebration)!

Registered participants for this class will receive a 15% discount to attend the FLAMENCO LAB in March 2025.

Class: Intermediate / Advanced Technique and Repertoire Solea Por Buleria

Where: Ballet Tucson 200 S Tucson Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716

Cost: $90 for the 4 week series -OR- $30 Drop-in 

Intermediate/Advanced Flamenco Technique and Repertoire is for students with an experienced level of flamenco exposure. Dancers will engage in complex movement combinations, advanced footwork drills and develop repertoire for Bulerias Por Solea (llamda and letra)

March 16th & 23rd 6:00pm-7:30pm 

Flamenco Lab is a safe environment to explore your material with live accompaniment.
